Active Care Group is a newly formed specialist service designed to meet the ever-changing complex needs market. Our combined group of companies offer care and support to children and adults with over 30 years of expertise in spinal injury, acute brain injury, epilepsy, learning disabilities, respiratory and other complex care needs. We are currently looking for a new addition to our payroll team.

This position is to support the Head of Payroll to accurately, effectively and consistently process the organisation`s payrolls reconciliation to the agreed timetable. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and meet our key attributes outlined below.


You`ll be responsible for the completion of delegated payroll reconciliation activities in line with Active timeline and regulatory standards including; data input and interfaces, reporting, support to payroll system users. You will demonstrate effective communication and demonstrate the ability to represent the organisation in an appropriate and professional manner in all internal and external contact and relationships.


1+ Years` experience in a similar role
Experience of working within policies
Excellent numeracy & Literacy skills
Demonstrated experience of manual calculation of all Payroll aspects
Knowledge and experience understanding payroll related compliance.
Proficient IT Skills; word, excel, outlook, internet & industry standard payroll software
Knowledge of PAYE and NIC, all necessary payroll legislation and regulations (statutory payroll processes)

You`ll have the ability to work in a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
You will show accuracy and a good eye for detail as well as the Ability to use own initiative and take accountability.
You`ll demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to deliver accurate work to deadlines and flexibly adapt and support to a changing environment.


Up to £25,000 Per Annum
