About the role:

Active Care in the Home are expanding our client base, and have a new children's care package in Callington, Cornwall.

We’re looking to recruit Support Workers to support our 15 year old client who has cerebral palsy. The role will be to support the client in the mornings, to include personal care, physio routine assistance and emotional support.

You will be supporting the client in their family home where they live with parents and sibling and you will be an integrated part of their family. We are looking for candidates who have a gentle and caring approach. High levels of communication and emotional availability is essential.

Shifts available:

  • Mornings (7.30am-9.30am)
  • 3-4 shifts a week available across weekdays and weekends
  • (We will recruit 2 support workers to cover all 7 days)


In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.
