About the role:
Active Care in the Home are expanding our client base, and have a new children's care package in Altrincham.
We’re looking to recruit Children's Support Workers to care for a 10 year old girl who has quadraplegic cerebral palsy, she uses a wheelchair and requires hoisting. You will be working alongside another Support Worker for all shifts.
The role will involve keeping her busy and entertained, participating in activities with her. She loves being outside, riding her adapted bike, doing arts and crafts, cooking and baking. She also has a cinema room and enjoys watching movies in there.
Shifts available:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays (4pm-8pm)
- Sundays (10am-8pm)
- Part time - 18 hours a week available
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.
