Shape the Future of Specialist Neurorehabilitation

Active Neuro, part of Active Care Group, is establishing a Clinical Advisory Group to support the strategic development of our specialist neurorehabilitation services across the UK.

We are seeking respected clinicians, academics and allied health professionals with expertise in neurological rehabilitation to join a multidisciplinary advisory group that will help shape service innovation, clinical excellence, research, outcomes and patient experience.

We are particularly interested in applications from experts in:

  • Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
  • Neurological rehabilitation
  • Major trauma rehabilitation
  • Spinal Injury and Major Trauma Centres
  • Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Neurology and Neurosurgery
  • Neuropsychology
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Complex disability and community neurorehabilitation
  • Clinical research and outcomes measurement


What you'll be working:

  • Quarterly advisory meetings (virtual and/or in person)
  • Additional opportunities to contribute to specific projects and working groups
  • Flexible commitment designed to fit alongside existing professional responsibilities
  • Approximately 6-8 days per year
  • Daily rate and stiped to be discussed

What you'll be doing:

The Clinical Advisory Group will provide independent clinical expertise and strategic advice to Active Neuro's leadership team. Members will contribute to the ongoing development of high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services and support enhance our position as the leading provider of specialist neurorehabilitation in the UK.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on clinical strategy and service development
  • Reviewing emerging evidence, innovation and best practice
  • Supporting quality improvement and outcome measurement initiatives
  • Providing expert input into complex neurorehabilitation pathways
  • Helping strengthen partnerships with NHS, academic and major trauma networks
  • Acting as ambassadors for excellence in neurological rehabilitation
  • Visits to services within the Active Neuro portfolio

What you'll have:

You will be a recognised expert within your field and able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in specialist neurorehabilitation or neuroscience services
  • A senior clinical, academic or leadership role
  • A passion for improving outcomes for people living with neurological conditions and injuries
  • Experience of service development, research, quality improvement or education
  • The ability to provide constructive challenge and strategic insight
