About the role:
Active Care in the Home are expanding our client base. We’re looking to recruit a brand-new team of Support Workers to care for our brand new young client in Llanrug.
Our client is a 17 year old teenage girl who lives at home with her family. She has complex health needs including wheelchair user, non-verbal, PEG fed and epilepsy. You will be supporting her on a 1:1 basis. We will provide full specialist training.
Due to the rural location of the clients home, you will need to be a driver with a car.
Shifts available:
- Day shifts
- Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (8am-6pm)
- Saturdays (8am-4pm)
- We are looking to recruit two support workers to work 2 shifts a week each, plus cover for other shifts when other support worker is off
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change.
